Gratitude
After a year of T.A.’ing and the horrible cynicism that came with it, I decided I wanted to take some time each day to remember things I am grateful for. Today, these reasons are bountiful. My funding situation for the summer and fall are almost completely finalized and I will be able working on projects I find both interesting and important! Cell phones
Although I love my cell phone for CALLING people, I may have to argue that they are making mankind a ruder species. I HATE when you are trying to have a convo with someone, and they are texting other people or are dicking around on the internet. I mean, it’s just plain rude.

Seriously....
So, the Pope wants to add seven more deadly sins. I can understand some of them, but…wow. I have a major problem with 2. We are trying to cure life-threatening diseases. Drug abuse is often a disease….aren’t 6 and 7 an extension of 5. Nice thoughts, but I don’t agree at all. 1. ‘Bioethical’ violations such as birth control 2. ‘Morally dubious’...

Public Service Announcement
NEVER, EVER drive back down state at 10 pm from Marquette. It is not a good idea. I am exhausted but I can’t sleep b/c I drank too much cappachino. I have to wake up in like 4 1/2 hours. ugh.

Wow. I haven’t blogged in a really long time. It was nice to have a break away from school though. Except that it involved my car dying in St. “Igs” (Nicole feels that this is a great abbrev.) and me having to spend the night in a Super 8 by myself followed by a day of walking down US2 and hanging out in a hillbilly garage waiting for my car. Ah, the splendid UP.

Dearest Nicole
Okay….yes, we may have horrible movie compatibility…only because I was asked a bizzilion questions about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc. You KNOW I hate those kind of movies. (Although I love Chronicles of Narnia). I think Facebook is ridic.
Ugh...
I am exhausted. I can’t seem to catch up on sleep or work. Can’t imagine what will happen when I have a baby. I’m hoping I can nap later. Not likely though.
Today rules
I have slept for like 16 hours out of the last 24…it was pretty exhilarating. I also got out of class early, another great thing. Aww…other than that, my sister interrupted my sweet slumber to tell me that there is a 7 year-old preacher in the world…7! And he is simply spreading the word of exactly what his father, “coincidentally” also a preacher, tells him....
I realized two very important things today. 1. I hate when my fly comes down on my pants….all by itself. I mean, there I am. Walking to class and I realize my zipper is halfway down. I zip it up, only for this event to reoccur ever 15 minutes. lame. Note to self: Have my sister fix my jeans. 2. I hate being in WalMart…it is almost always an unpleasant experience. I don’t even...

I had fun last night at Bdubs. Very entertaining, most definitely. Me and Nicole got to talk to each other on Facebook at work again today. Having lame jobs is sometimes cool. On the other hand, accepting applications for classes in which individuals have to apply in not so cool.
